While extending the cable may solve this one problem, but it does not really solve my problem of constantly stepping on it / having it tangled around my feet when standing. Of course, when I'm finished practising I have to then move them all back to where I would normally use my amps when headphones are not in use (otherwise, they block the doorway). Secondly, because of the fixed cable length (I have 4m), every time I want to practise in silence, I'm forced to move a bulky pedalboard and my normal seat over to where the amps and the OX box are (in a fixed shelving unit). so stepping on the headphone cable/ ripping it out of the headphone cup etc. When I use my OX for silent practising with headphones, the cable is a real pain for a number of reasons.įirstly, I spend at least half of my practise time in a standing position, moving over and back to the amp to make adjustments etc etc.
